Millennium Motorist Foundation traces its roots to 1983 when Mr. Sivaloganathan extended his hands to help new immigrants arriving in Montreal, Quebec. Mr. Sivaloganathan initially began conducting driving lessons to many south asian immigrants at a time when obtaining a valid drivers license was crucial in order to find employment. While spreading his knowledge on the theories of driving, Mr. Sivaloganathan also taught his students the importance of integrating within the Canadian society.

Mr. Sivaloganathan has been actively involved in the field of Law Order for many years. He was a police officer in his homeland, Sri Lanka. Mr. Sivaloganthan has worked in parking enforcement with the city of Toronto and also as a court officer in the Civil Courts. Many south asian immigrants seek his advice on matters involving purchasing vehicles, obtaining insurance policies, dealing with traffic tickets and claims, and the like. His personal experience, education, and association with other Enforcement Agencies have increased his desire to help others improve their quality of life.

Presently, Mr. Sivaloganathan has formed a committee and established a Foundation (MMFC) providing information and services with the goal to raise awareness of the legal system and minimize unnecessary expenses due to the lack thereof.
